Corrosion and rust around windscreen glazing is a common problem.

The biggest issue, is the we often can’t see the rust until after the windscreen has been removed.

This picture shots a small rust hole in the top corner where the windscreen was.  The black layer of glue has clearly become unstuck from the steel where to rust is.

Nothing sticks to rust!

Albeit a small hole ( about 30mm) it still had to be repaired before we could go ahead with the windscreen replacement.
